<description>This meeting lasted approx 1 hour and was adjourned at approx. 10:00. The commissioners present where District #1 Lynda Ring Erickson and District #2 commissioner Tim Sheldon. This meeting began with two news releases as follows: The 1st was regarding a Public workshop for Foothills County Park on April 26th @ the Fire hall. The commissioners and staff commented that this is a wonderful park and that they appreciated everyone’s efforts to make this workshop happen. They also suggested that the public attend this meeting if they have interest in this project. News release #2 was regarding a new (what I believe to be) annual Earth Day Fair. This fair will happen April 20th and will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm at the Shelton Civic Center. This fair will have exhibits and lots of free information for the public. Once again both commissioners strongly suggested the public attend this great fair they where very excited for everyone’s efforts to make this event happen.

The commissioners moved to approve the consent agenda items 8.1-8.9. (please review)

At 9:30 a.m. there was two scheduled Public hearings. Hearing # 9.1 was granted a continuation to May 8th, 2007 public comment was not heard due to the continuation. Public Hearing # 9.2 was denied unanimously after public comment/questions where heard and after Mr. Allan Borden gave his departments report/suggestions.

If anyone has any question please do not hesitate to contact me via email at ncci@hctc.com or by ph. At 360-462-0171.
